home-made, low-tech hammoque & tarp combeaux, exlusive of tackle for the tarp and inclusive of SweetWater stuff saque, since I don't carry the filter anymeaux.

How does this weight staque up against the Hennesy and other hammoque weights?

It saves me a few ounces over my marina hammoque; it may sacrifice tensil strength, but I don't know the specs for the fabric or webbing.

I can trim some fabrique from the hammock, some webbing from the tackle, and dispense with the stuff saque.

I'd like to save some weight with the beeners, but they save set up and take down time.

Basic plan / blue print:

about 2 yards of rip-stop, coated nylon with a simple knot tied at both ends.

tackle is webbing -- your basic, flat nylon strap you see on most back packs. Knots in the webbing mimic the one you put around your neque when you dress up with a tie.

I can't remember what I paid for the fabrique at Hancock's except it was cheap.

Webbing was 20 cents a foot at REI

The beeners were $7 each at REI ... the ones from Home Depot, though cheaper and smaller, are heavier and, it turns out, rust.
