I live in Florida, where we skipped winter all together this year.  It's hot, 
it's humid, and this is just the beginning.  The forecasters are predicting a 
higher than average hurricane season this year.  There are no mountains. I 
fight traffic every morning and every night, Monday through Friday, and with 
my new job, I've added 10 more miles to my daily commute.  I live in the 
city, a concrete world.  I also live in a condo, I have no yard, no garden.  
My stupid car (which I've dubbed the 
"Junkuar") has decided to start breaking down once a month, to the tune of 
about $400 per mechanic visit.  I have a wedding to plan, a new job to start, 
and I'm tired.  To make this hiking related, my hiking season is over until 
around November.  I'm punished enough, so please, no spanky for me.
