This is all about people being tired of R-n-R going on and on about the same 
thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over.

That other list you are talking about with topic police and rules about what 
is said and who can say it and which posters are always right and how their 
interpretation of the vision of what the AT is supposed to be has already 
been tried.  It didn't work.  It was called ATML.
