Same Quality (was) RE: [at-l] Target Fleece Bag

Often items are produced by the same companies or in the same factories that
produce name goods. One friend got a cheap store brand camera, and a tech
at a professional camera repair place switched name plates and logos.
No-one, even pro photographers could tell the difference. And my ex worked
one time in a factory that "recycled" jackets, etc: They'd get in a batch
that was turned down or had not been sold. They'd cut out the labels, put
the next label in, and ship out. Sometimes they'd get the same coat back
several times; it go from being a designer label to being a no-name label.
Then another acquaintance worked in a factory where they'd switch from the
top name brand to a no-name brand without missing a beat. Though they did
sometimes take short-cuts on the no-name product -- say no-lining in a coat,
or a cheaper zipper, or looser stiches.

Examine a product closely, or have a friend who's an "expert" examine an
item closely, and you probably can save quite a few bucks on a lot of
camping items.
