[at-l] Dehydrated Bread???



This is going to sound silly, but has anybody tried dehydrating bread?  I
was just wondering if you could do it and turn it into something like
hardtack/pilot biscuits or crackers.  And would it last as long as or mold
as quickly as regular bread?  I can usually get lots of cheap "specialty"
breads -- sometimes for free.

I'd be tempted to try it, but I would have to use my stove to dehydrate the
bread.

Anybody willing to experiment?
