[at-l] Better Maps?

I know from experience the maps including in the official at guidebooks 
aren't nearly as good as the local maps produced by the AMC in certain
sections of the woods, namely the whites and southern ME.  (I'd hate
to think that some people cross the whites without these nifty and
informative maps.

So my question is, are there better maps available for the other
sections of the trail as well?  i.e. Do any of the maintainer clubs 
have better maps to use?
