 I've seen the numbers and they are enormous. But I forget the details. Personal
 watercraft which have the same basic engines as snowmobiles, put out more
 pollution in eight hours than a typical automobile does in a month -- or maybe
 a year. The figures are so enormous that the details don't matter.

 BTW. I understand some of the newer and more expensive snow machines are less
 polluting -- and less noisy.

 Weary
