Speaking of footwear, I wonder if anyone here is familiar with this model -- Fabiano Trionics. These are (were) a medium-weight all leather boot that really suited me well, until they finally gave up the ghost a couple years after my hike. Vibram soles, leather liners. I'd sure like to find something similar, haven't done so, least not yet. Any ideas? rafe b. aka terrapin
