[at-l] Backpacking Boots??



People can mention which shoes/boots worked for them but that won't mean 
much if they don't fit your foot, a very individual thing.  So, it might be 
good if you told us a bit more about your hiking style...

How heavy are you?  How heavy is your pack?  What boots have you already 
been wearing.  Chances are whatever has worked for you to date is what's 
going to work for you on the trail.

Can't help on the filter end of things.  I use Potable Aqua (iodine 
tablets).
