[at-l] another take on cell phones

As someone who doesn't carry a cell phone in regular life, I'm not about
to carry one on the AT despite all of my friends and family who are
convinced I'll die a horrible, lonely, death without one. (I did point
out to one friend that if I plunge off a cliff, the cell phone won't
fare any better than me - probably worse).

I found an answer that seems to have satisfied the majority. They gave
my husband a cell phone so that I would always be able to reach him from
town stops, rather than risk phone tag, etc.

Don't know if this reverse application will be useful to anyone else.
