Where the hell have the neighbors been?
I can't believe this sort of thing has been allowed to happen.  Everyone
within a half mile radius of the place should have known something was
wrong -- not even a pig farm could disguise the fact.

It is in fact the refering funeral home's responsiblity to be sure the
cremation takes place according to public expectation and that the
deceased's cremains are returned in whole.  This is a tall order
considering the practice is to leave the deceased at the crematory for the
crematory staff to carry out it's function, and return the cremains to the
funeral home.

This is so tragic, and is abhorently contrary to what the great majority of
funeral directors strive to provide as a service to a bereaved family.
There is really no way this wrong will ever be righted in the minds of the
people involved.
