[at-l] Eyeglasses

Just as a FYI, many glasses, even non-sunglasses, have UV coatings now.
I make sure that mine do. I've also had things wack me in the face
often enough to make me glad to be wearing glasses.

On the other hand, there is a sense of immediacy that I get when wearing
contacts that is lacking with glasses. When I'm wearing my glasses a
tiny part of my mind is always aware of looking THROUGH something.

Fogging, misting, etc. wouldn't be a problem for you, 'cause you could
just take the glasses off, and a light weight case (or even a ziploc
bag) would keep them from getting scratched.

Anyway, that's my two cents.

    Hello Listers

I want your opinion on whether I should bring my eyeglasses.
I have a very weak prescription that helps me to avoid headaches
when spending hours in front of computer screens as part of my
most recent job. Because I like to avoid these headaches, I made
    myself wear these glasses everyday.

I can see well enough without glasses to read the smallest print
on a restaurant menu without difficulty. The only trouble I have
while not wearing them is trying to read small street signs from
a LONG distance while driving at night.

Should I bring the glasses or should they spend 6 months in a
    storage locker?
