[at-l] Re: Cup keeps yucky odors

Often my meals can be eaten out of the stand-and-ziplock bag that they are stored in. A cup is just
used for drinking. I have always preferred metal cups either aluminum or titanium (the latter is
what I now use). The metal seems to retain far less taste and is easy to clean.

If I am having a meal that requires the use of a bowl I'm most likely to have brought a ziplock bowl
along for that purpose. I try hard not to put any food in the pot. The pot becomesa strictly
one-use item - something to boil water in. Granted, this isn't the lightest way to go but I want to
keep the pot as clean as I can reasonably manage to help ensure good quality water.

I clean the bowl with hot water and a gritty piece of sponge. A tiny tiny bit of camp soap sometimes
too.
