Second Amendment an anachronism? Re: [at-l] Automatic Weapons



### I am always tempted to give a kneejerk response to questions
on the right to bear arms: we just don't need it anymore; it was
written 200 years ago to avoid the historic infringement of
protection from tyrannical go'mint, from villains (like
criminals and injuns), and to provide meat for one's table. But
it's just not needed now, with our reliable go'mint, our police
forces, and our supermarkets.
