waahhll, to break the gender lines, I, a female, have a watch w/ a bleeping alarm. In its defense - it IS small sounding - not loud at all and goes off quickly. I know cuz I miss it all the time - sometimes even if i'm awake! Oddly enough, I cant hear it if my hand is under the down comfortor even tho I sleep w/ them up at around shoulder height. maybe I'm goin deaf myself... Paula
