[at-l] watch alarms

Why do hikers use alarms, anyway? Isn't hiking supposed to be a vacation
and fun? Do you set an alarm at home when you're on vacation or on your day
off? It's always been a mystery to me. I figure it's my vacation, and I'm
not getting up before 7:00. By then, everyone with an alarm is up and
moving, so I'm pretty much awake. No problem. anklebear
