I have, and swear by, the EMS X-Lites which are about 2/3rds the price of Lekis (I had a pair of the equivalent Lekis previously). Both are the type with the shock absorbers which are helpful saving the knees on the downhills. On the uphills, it helps you become a four legged rather than two legged animal which I also find helpful. Black&blue
