The virus is w32.Badtrans and it's new. The Norton site has the
discovery date as 11/24/01 so if you have not updated the virus
definitions in your antivirus software you need to do so now. This virus
installs a backdoor trojan in your system.

If you receive an email from me today - perhaps just a little before
this one - please do not try to open the attachments.  I received an
email from someone I trust and tried to open the files (it arrived as a
reply) but it seems to have accessed my address book and sent out emails
containing the attachments.  Just delete the email with the attachments.
