I know this is way behind. We've been on the road without any modem access 
for a while. But I wanted to note our experience.

My husband got a Mountain Hardwear wind shirt and loves it. He wears it in 
cool/cold weather, can keep it on and be comfortable as the day warms ups, 
loves it for really windy mountaintops, and it's really light. He thinks it's 
great. Looks like I'll put one on my Christmas list. ;-)
