[at-l] (Guest Post) 2002 hiking

Where is this question coming from? I don't mean "from the West Coast", I
mean philosophically. We don't seem to be having the answers that are being
sought, so what's driving the question? My family is planning to hike in
Spain next summer. We're stepping forth in faith (pun intended, since we're
going to do the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage trail) until something really
happens that says, "This is not a good idea." I had intended to go to
Nepal, but that seems a little close to the conflict to suit me. Other than
that, what's the problem? Are you of some ethnic background that would make
people notice you or something? Like from some middle-Eastern background?
