"Thursday 7am HIKERS TAKE NOTICE: 
Do not be fooled by this morning's mild weather. We are expecting winds to 
build dramatically gusting above hurricane force this afternoon with 
temperatures dropping sharply below freezing by nightfall. There are 
thunderstorms, rain and snow showers in the forecast this afternoon into 
tonight which will likely be accompanied by plenty of icing. Hiking above 
treeline will become increasingly dangerous this afternoon into tonight.
