October 15, 2001 - Brian has 256 miles to go!  He
has hiked 7,115 miles in 288 days.

On the AT:  1,912 of 2,168 miles.
       CDT:    ALL of 2,558 miles.
       PCT:    ALL of 2,645 miles.

this comes out to 24.7 miles per day every day for 288 days!  I'm
impressed.  does this guy have a support team?
