### And you're welcome to do that, Ron, and you might well find me
agreeing with you on any chastisements you care to heft my way. And if I
don't reply, don't think I haven't read your post. (I'm either too busy to
disagree well, or I agree anyway.)

### But there's a "nice" way to respond to Weary/etc. behavior, and a
"quick" way, and an "easy" way. The list has debated "nice" till it's blue
in the face, and Bob/etc don't care to get it. "Easy"? A number of people
have gone silent -- either quit the list or quit reading -- I did this,
and with current job pressures (I testify on $50M of utility issues in two
hours), silence was an easy way out. But the crap continued *unabated*,
(and will) until the only thing left -- a *shell* of an at-l -- is an
amtl-II. When I got back from hiking the LT, I kept getting pestered by
the question that was easy to squelch before I went: "Would I put up with
this in the real world (which is to say) out on the trail? Hell no."

### So now I respond "quick" -- no big verbage to invite debate, no
arduous attempts to apply logic where none can be applied, no
historical/archival attempts to remind.... just a quick post to say "No,
this is not acceptable"; hopefully inarguable, possibly saving effort on
others parts (in terms of reading, or in terms of having to clabber
together some kind of response...)

### I've had it. The at-l has made plain what the at-l is about, and
polite responses are of no use. So to the degree I have time, I will voice
my intolerance for the kind of behavior Weary/etc exhibit, in posts that
[hopefully] allow others to not *have* to respond. Should you like to
respond to this behavior similarly, Ron, *you'll* save *me* some
keystrokes.

### "Nice" ain't cut it.
### "Easy" invites more.
### "Quick", at least, lends some info for people to delete at will,
without even needing to open the post.

"It's moving your tail that gets you up the trail. Nothing else."
This aphorism applies right here and now.
