[at-l] Rambling thoughts, possibly delete before opening



I understand greyowl's dilemma. But somehow, I can't tune out these debates. Dedicated people,
working against all odds, created this marvelous trail, that many thought of as "petty crap."

Dedicated people today are needed to expand
and protect the trail for future generations. It's easy to assume that the MF's of this world are
insignificant minorities. But the history of civilization is a history of such zealots being ignored
and gaining power because they were ignored.

Nothing good in this world happens without dedicated people, working against odds, making it happen.
No one should criticize those who refuse to take part in the battles. As we all know, life is short.
But neither should we criticize those with the energy and dedication to continue the battles for a
better and wiser society.

Ignore us, if you must. Debate us, if you will. But remember progress is never easy. Only those who
take part in the debate, will influence the future, cynics not withstanding.
