[AT-L] Hiking in PA

South Central PA is a great place to live and Hike. I, as a Penn Stater,
miss the area greatly. Your gear ideas will serve you well.
The AT is just fine there as well as the other 2200 miles. The Mid-State ,
North Country (NCT), Susquehannock and Laurel Highlands are all within easy
reach and are there to be had, too.

Far too many AT'ers go on at great lengths on how much they dislike PA's AT
and in general all Mid Atlantic hiking. I find a lot here to keep my
interest. For more info try www.parec.com/recreation/hikepa.htm

Good hiking!
