[at-l] Backpacks, the good, the bad, the useless...?



For those who try to keep their VW's alive, the reference is very clear
and always appropriate. This is one of the frequent raps by John Muir
of _How to Keep your VW Alive for the Complete Idiot_, regarding how to
manage frustration and anger when your beast of burden appears to fail
you. 

It is something I remind myself whenever I become convinced that this
current mountain is nothing but false peaks, and will never end in a
way that I can tolerate. Why should I kick my ass when God has put this
wondrous mountain here, just to kick it for me without any extra effort
required on my part? I rejoice in the gift, and usually manage to get
to the top, anyway.
