[at-l] AT Plaque

I just returned from the Nantahala Outdoor Center. I went upstairs too
check out the gear, and lying in the floor was a bronze looking plaque,
just like the one at Springer Mt., with Georgia AT club printed at the
bottom. It had attachment holes at each corner, as if it had been taken
off a rock. It had also been autographed, I assume, by Earl Shaffer on
his 98 thru hike. Could not find anyone in the store that knew anything
about it. How strange. Would like to know If anyone knows anything about
this plaque? I have a feeling it belongs somewhere else.
