[at-l] AT Lodge closed

Kahley, I'm not sure this'll make it to the AT-L so I'm sending it to
you just in case and you can forward it.

First, I'm off the trail for a bit. I have quite a tale to tell but it
will wait for a later note. I'll be getting back on the trail this
weekend though doing a JounO and changing direction AND location (maybe
I shouldn't be but I am...)

Now, I got back to Millinocket  on the 10th from White House Landing
(what an awful marked trail that is and hikers should know that they
should look for the trail to the air horn at the little cove off the old
Mohar Tote road that is NORTH of the logging road. Finding the trail off
the logging road is really tough - really tough indeed) only to find
that the AT Lodge was shut down. I am not sure why but I heard
bankruptcy was an issue. I also wonder if there is something going on
with the current owners and the couple that they were purchasing the
place from (that couple who owned it before). It is a mess. The AT Cafe
is also closed and that made a big stink in town since townsfolk liked
going there. I've no idea when/if it will re-open.
