Well....IMHO......if the pole use helps hikers to hike, then use 'em. It
seems that the land does have an incredible way of healing its self. I
would think that Lekis and the like, would be better than hunks of dead
branches "schlumped" down into the soil repeatedly.
Landslides (nope not a maintainer...... but very greatful for those who
are :-)
