 Mahoneys Outfitters New Nolichucky Outpost On the banks of the Nolichucky 
River
 on the grounds of USA Raft and Nolichucky Gorge Campground and Hostel Take
 exit 15 off of 181 and follow the signs Saturday, April 14th Dinner at Noon- 
Fun all 
Day

This year over 3,000 individuals from all across America and from all over 
the world,
 win set out to hike the entire 2,168 miles of the Appalachian Trail. These
 adventurous people are of all ages from7 years old to 79 years young! They 
include
 students, doctors, lawyers, grandmothers, families and maybe even a neighbor 
or a
 friend of yours!  Many will not be able to complete the hike but all of them 
will enjoy
 a wilderness experience that runs right through our own back yard here in 
East
 Tennessee!. Over 200 miles of the Appalachian Trail winds through the 
mountains of
 Western North Carolina and East Tennessee. Hundreds of these hikers come off 
of
 the trail and into our towns to buy supplies, enjoy a meal or rest in a 
hostel or hotel. 

They bring with them some wonderful adventures and very useful information 
about hiking on the Appalachian Trail.

Join us for an old fashioned afternoon of fun, games, door prizes, contests 
good food
 and entertainment while you meet some of the 2001 Thruhikers. Get to know 
some
 of the local organizations, clubs, businesses and many individuals that 
support the
