[at-l] NH, NY, ME and VT avalanche and flood warnings

3/26/01 - WARNING - Vermont Emergency Management has been notified by Stowe
Hazardous Terrain
Evacuation that recent heavy snowfalls on top of a hard crust continue to
make for a very high avalanche risk in the Smuggler's Notch area. Extreme
caution should be used if traveling off the road or in potential run-out
zones in this area - especially at the bottom of steep open slopes.

New Hampshire is reporting the same for the Whites.
New York is reporting the same for the DAK'S.
Maine has the same report for their mountains.

There is also a flood warning for all of Northern New England for the next
30 days. There has been minimal melting of this years record snow pack.
With the snow so deep. A few warm days or some rain will raise the water to
raise very quickly in the streams and rivers. Be careful out there.
