Mine was so bad on one trek that I was taken out by chopper and my kidney
enzymes were so high that the nephrologist wanted my daughter to be near
very quickly and basically said I was gonna go. I thought that in a
hospital they could take care of that but it was not the case. I became
very afraid because I did not want my daughter to be alone; her husband had
recently died. I had some blood initially also, not like yours though; mine
was bright red and then I was weak and stumbling and just had the feeling
that I was going to die. My vision blurred and if I even tried to walk I
would go a couple of steps and then slam to the ground. Also my muscles
were sore as hell like I had been beaten or something. It was a real trip
and 5 days in ICU....
