Both of these places are very nice, but serve different needs to different
people.

The Kincora is a wonderful place to stay. Bob and Pat Peoples, who run the
place, are 2 of the nicest people I have met hiking. It is a great place to
go just to visit. It is comfortable with a great front porch and a decent
kitchen and is reasonably priced.

Laurel Creek would work out great for a couple looking for privacy or a group
travelling with children. You can rent a cabin there and some movies and
relax in the quiet. It has places for kids to play and a basketball area.
It allows alcohol, which is taboo at the Kincora.

Both places are generous with their shuttles and are proud to assist hikers.

                Cheryl
