When you buy your Thorlos, do you ever read the fine print on the label? I
bought lots of Thorlos for hubby and me at REI in Dallas last week. They
were on the bed, and I just happened to read the small print on the back:
"LIQUID FABRIC SOFTENERS are critical to receive full benefit of the product
design." This was in small bold print with the caps just as I have them.
In very light small print just above that, it says, "...(to lubricate the
fibers for longer life)."
Apart from the exceedingly poor grammar, that's a real revelation to me.
You know, when all else fails, read the directions. I just check to see if
you can wash and dry the socks. I don't ever use any kind of fabric
softener, much less liquid. In very cold weather, I use a fabric softener
sheet in the dryer, but never liquid. Guess I'll have to start. What a
pain!
