Greetings fellow hikers!

As of 1 PM 3/3/01, the "official" count from  WalasiYi, Mountain Crossing Outfitter at Neel Gap in Georgia was 141 Thru Hikers.   

Not all stop to sign in, so there are probably more than that.

North Georgia has been almost Spring like, but it was a tease, because by Monday, they're predicting SNOW and ICE.  And the 'old timers' are saying we're going to have some icy conditions in two to three weeks.

The Road to Hog Pen Gap is STILL closed to traffic.   And Turkey Season starts March 24.  Wear your blaze orange.  (I'll be out there, too, so wear LOTS of blaze orange.  LOL)
