[at-l] first aid



Excellent. But what did you carry in your first aid kit? 

My thought is that your first aid kit should be wasted weight - weight
that is never needed or used. It is much like insurance. If you "win"
and need it, bad things have happened. If you "lose," you get to brag
how little you needed from that bit of planning. I'd still be careful
what I add to the first aid kit. I wouldn't plan on bringing 3 sizes of
airways, a larygoscope, BP cuff, O2 bottle and canulas, IV sets, or a
sterile laceration set. But I wouldn't be without..... (wait till I get
it organized and written).
