While I'm out of lurk mode...here's what I used from my first aid kit in
2000 (YMMV):

Ace bandage
Tums (lots at first)
Vit I
Dermatone (lips, nose, dry skin, whatever...)
duct tape
first aide tape (worked better for me in the rain than duct tape)
a couple of funky little square bandaids with sticky stuff on all four sides
