Varies not only by brand but also production run...
no real guarantees. I used 2 pairs of Asolo. I started
with a new pair at Springer and switched to my backups
at the Delaware Water Gap. The first pair were
starting
to get thin in the tread and the rubber at the toe
was starting to turn loose from the leather. The
backups were my older pair that I had resoled before
the trail. The entire sole started to turn loose
before I got out of NJ. It was done by a cobbler who
does hiking boots as a part of their trade. I wouldn't
recommend them. I'm been using my starters as farm
boots the last 3 months so they probably would have
lasted longer...but who knows.
