The following site has quite a collection of used AT books available at very 
reasonable prices.  Use the following link and save even more.  Go to 
outdoors/sports and then search on Appalachian Trail.  13 pages of books came 
up, a lot of duplicates in various stages of very good to poor condition but 
still, a very nice collection of hard to find stuff. Some Trail Guides from 
the early years, as far back as 1951 . . . check it out if you get a chance.
