[at-l] Stove Struggle

Hi gang,
Here's my biggest dilemma: I have two stoves a) An MSR International and
b) An Esbit.
Of course, I really like the Esbit's weight as compared to the MSR and fuel
bottle. And I can bump box or mail drop fuel tablets for resupply on the
AT. My concern is whether the Esbit really will do the job - whether its
fuel tab burn time and heat is sufficient. I've used it with limited
success. Sometimes, in a breeze, the tablet is a pain to light. I'm going
to experiment to see if a bit of bag balm or Vaseline on a tablet will
cause it to light easier. Perhaps some of you might share your experience
in each of these stove types - positive and negative... whatever.
I suppose I could start off with the Esbit and bump box the MSR, or the
converse.... marty aka rusty
