Virginia Interagency Coordination Center (VA-VIC):  Fire activity increased
today with gusty winds and relative humidities in the teens. The Virginia
Department of Forestry was fighting large fires moving toward Lee County on
10/29, Virginia from southeast Kentucky.  They are still staffing 2 large
fires in Lee and Buchanan Counties.  The Shenandoah National Park was initial
attacking two fires late on 10/29. The Pinnacles Fire near Luray is 200
acres, with no estimated containment and burning intensely. The fire was held
at Skyline Drive. The Fork Mountain Fire is 51 acres, also has no estimated
containment.  A scratch line is in place around the fire.
