Zebras have arrived in the suburbs of the northeast. This week's New York Times Science section includes an account of a northeastern suburbanite who contracted Lyme's while trimming shrubbery. The diagnosis took a long time to confirm, with the guy's physician heading in various and sundry pathways, some induced by the side effects of drugs taken to attack an incorrect assumption about the cause for his symptoms.
