Please emphasis "in a pinch...."  The human body has an amazing ability to
fight infection and heal itself if you let it.  Although keeping the wound
clean is paramount, it is often better to leave the wound open.  I know-I've
taped up wounds, blisters, etc, through my time in the Army and have seen
infections...until a smart doc chastised me for what I did....  Other than
that, I'll take some duct tape (not duck tape) and tape my mouth shut.
