using them in the MRE's. Before the MRE's they came in a can with the
C-rations. They are called crackers now.
Hardtack AKA sea biscuits have been around in one form or another for at
lease 400-500 years. Columbus had sea biscuits (hardtack) in 1492.
If you want some. You can get them from the same Bakey, that made them for
the Union Army in 1860's. The URL is:
