Ran into Mr. Clean just south of Thistle Hill shelter in Pomfret, Vt. on 
Sunday, June 3.  Had a long talk with him and he is doing well. I was 
surprised to learn his pack  weight is about the same as it was in the 
winter, hiking through Maine and N H.  He  was about to detour into Woodstock 
to see the village.
