I find this common among citizens today.  Not this list of course.
:)   And, the media plays into it.  There is the expectation that the
government should do for us everything that we are too lazy to provide
for ourselves. Whatever happened to accountability?  the governments
role is to provide for our national defense and to protect the rule of
law.  Nothing more.
