  Not sure why they don't hold secure to your foot.  If it's the back strap 
not reaching high enough around your foot to keep your foot planted firmly on 
the footbed, then you can probably "fix" that problem.  
  
  I had bought a pair for my Dad.  He stated that he simply couldn't keep 
them on his feet when he walked -- the back strap kept slipping off his foot, 
because the strap was riding too low.  This weekend, I did a little 
shoe-tailoring.  I elongated the anchoring straps on the sides (took out the 
stitching, let out the excess straps, restitched at the new "longer" point) 
and voila the back strap was now in the ideal spot to hold his foot onto the 
bed of the sandal -- the sandals fit like a charm!
