Not too heavy. I have lots of married friends whose spouse stays home and
enjoys having the other go off backpacking with other people even of the
other gender (because they love and trust each other and the backpacker and
the stayathomer are committed to the relationship).

However, I can truly say that just because someone SaYs and even AcTs as if
he or she mirrors your "couple" values, expectations, and goals, doesn't
mean that he or she really does. My first husband was a Lutheran Minister.
If you can't trust a Minister, who can you trust? You would think, or at
least >>I<< thought. We shared #1 above, so he said in order to woo me.
He, however, had individual dreams that negated almost all of the "couple
dreams and goals" that he professed to believe in.

When we are dealing with PeOpLe, there are no absolutes, not taxes, well,
maybe death, but you go to jail and can't go backpacking.

What is true, tho' is that just because a person doesn't backpack and
prefers the Hilton to the Stephenson, doesn't mean that that person cannot
be your life-mate. Maybe I should have told that to my 15 minute date?

My supervisor asked me if I was interested in remarrying -- my answer to
her -- well, I might consider it, maybe, but I am so stuck in my routine
having been singlish for so long, I'm not sure any male would be willing to
put up with me or I, him -- he'd have to be darn-near a saint and although
I'm an Angel, I'm far from sainthood.

So, the better part of valor likes the Status Quo.

No further applications need be submitted for Coosa's Hiker Hunk.
Sorry to disappoint those working on their resume's -- Coosa
