Ma wore the type of lenses that had to be taken out every night. She used an
alcohol based cleaner (Purell) to clean her hands  before taking them out
and putting them in. She soaked them in solution overnight and did have not
a single problem with infection during our 5+ months on trail. She had new
ones shipped and changed after 3 months.
