[at-l] Stop Smoking

If it helps anyone I haven't had a cigarette since June 17th last year. It
does get easier...
 -Uncle Milt

Congrats Uncle Milt.
Last February when I caught the flu was the last time I've had a cigarette.
To this day I get those desires creeping in my head. They do get less
frequent in time. The difference was noticed shortly after I started my
hike end of March. In 2-3 weeks I was doing really well with ups and not
being near as winded. Yes I was in better shape but putting down the butts
was also a big factor. The smell of cigarette smoke isn't appealing at all
any more. I was told years ago that kissing someone who smoked was like
kissing a dirty ashtray. I have a better sense of taste for foods. Just
look at the way my waist has grown sine June;) My sense of smell has been
enhanced quite a bit. In the woods I'm able to smell things I missed when
I smoked. I just enjoy life without them today that's all folks.
